Tonight I sat in a room full of women, who just like me, are desperate for the Savior. I shared the story of the virgin birth and how God takes what seems like impossible situations and by His power and through His Spirit brings so much good from them. He takes the difficult and turns it into wonderful-only He can do that. And after I testified of His goodness in my life- women started speaking their praises, choosing to voice the beautiful in the midst of the very very hard-
“I praise God that I have been clean for four months”
“I praise God for a home”
“I praise God that I made it through the day without a drink”
“I praise God that He forgives my sins and does not hold a grudge against me”
“I just take recovery day by day and know He can get me through today”
I rejoiced with heaven hearing them speak.
Such beauty coming from their lips.
Standing on the promises of God-those women.
Speaking such truth about our Redeeming Savior.
{For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.}
What beautiful hearts they have.
I went to minister
and left being ministered to.
I love how God does that.
