remembering
When the enemy attacks as the day is approaching that our team leaves for Uganda, I remind him of these things…
This is what my God has done:
♥ He provided new uniforms in less than 24 hours for all the caretakers at the orphanage we will be serving at.
♥ He sold every single piece of paper bead jewelry I needed to sell to buy a plane ticket.
♥ He called eleven women to serve Him with me in Uganda- and I thought it would only be six women! His ways are higher!
♥ He led me to the Kwagala Project on a trip to Uganda in October with Bridgette {that day was incredible}. Only the Lord!
♥ He exceeded our teams expectations {why do we put Him in a box} and provided over $900 for our team to bless the Kwagala Project with {$500 business loan and $400 for 40 bibles, care packages, and food} at a fundraiser dinner our team put on….and to this very day He keeps providing our team with more resources to bless them with {we now get to paint and decorate their new salon}!
♥ He has provided peace and confirmation for each woman who is called to go.
♥ He provided all twelve of us a plane ticket, totaling over $15,000! Some of the stories about how God has provided for different women just blows my mind! He is such an awesome Father-Provider.
♥ His spirit has faithfully moved mightily at each monthly prayer meeting.
♥ He has poured scripture after scripture into my heart that has cut deep.
♥ When the enemy accused me, my Rescuer came and reminded me who I am because of Christ.
♥ The heavy weight was lifted off when He told me that He is the one leading these women, not me. I am just His vessel to flow through.
♥ He romanced me through His Word at my favorite coffee shop.
♥ He answered me so powerfully that chilly February night in the car .
♥ He blessed my heart through Maddix and Sophie when they had an art auction to raise money for donations for the babies at the orphanage.
♥ He blessed me through words of encouragement and in hand written notes from my family and the body of Christ.
♥ He used Nathan to point me back to Him over and over again.
♥ He provided abundantly at our February fundraiser dinner.
♥ He has overflowed my Uganda savings account to bless the beautiful people of Uganda.
♥ He is blessing the children of Ekisa with lots of new pajamas.
♥ He washed peace over me today as I was prayed over by all our pastors and anointed with oil {so powerful}.
My. Faithful. God.
{and this is only my story}

I can’t wait to go back and walk these streets with sister’s in Christ.
God has beautiful things in store.
“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”
{2 Corinthians 5:14-15}
