…GIRL!!!!!!!!
Baby’s sweet birth mom had an ultrasound today and found out it’s a girl!
We are all ecstatic!
Maddix keeps excitedly saying, “I just can’t believe it’s a girl Mom!”. Sophie can’t wait to start changing her diapers! Ezra was hoping for a baby sister and said, “I told you Mom!” when we found out the news! I was with my mom in Target when we found out the news and she rushed to the baby girl section and bought her granddaughter several adorable onesies! Nathan greeted me with a huge grin and the sweetest hug when I came home tonight! He is one proud daddy!

♥ Starting off the day by stepping out in faith and paying our first of two adoption payments…right before we started signing the paperwork we got a call from our attorney with baby’s birth mom on the phone! How beautiful and affirming is that?! God is so good!
♥ Talking to baby’s birth mom on the phone today for the first time. I am so grateful for the conversation we had…it was incredible and unforgettable! Truly, a gift from the Lord!
♥ Buying Nathan and I’s plane tickets with money that all of you so generously donated! Thank you! We are so blessed to have you come alongside us! We have been rejoicing over every donation, whether you’ve donated $5 or $500, we thank you! We even had a donation come in from missionaries in Africa who are on the field right now! ♥ A visit from a new friend who drove 3 hours one way to love on our family and drop of a few items for baby Metz. We had a beautiful time together!
♥ Getting surprised by my bible study girls with a bassinet for baby! God keeps providing in the sweetest ways for us!
♥ Having an adoption consultant and attorney that are in love with Jesus.
